Five years ago we began praying about taking the Gospel to a predominantly Muslim country in the Middle East.
Five years ago, God called a Mexican pastor and his family to go to the Middle East and minister in a city with millions of people halfway around the world. Because of persecution, thousands of Christians fled the area but this pastor and his family moved in while others were moving out. They learned the language and loved the people.
And after five years, in a miraculous way, God connected them to Trinity.
Together we are starting a church in a city that is 99.9% Muslim but ripe for the life changing power of the Gospel.
Expanding the 2020 Vision
"Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen." Ephesians 3:20-21
When we committed to the 2020 Vision, a church in the Middle East was not on our horizon. We were praying for the opportunity to cooperate with the amazing work that God is doing there but it had not taken shape yet. Since then, He has acted in ways that we could not ask or imagine to provide a way for us to support a church plant in a place that desperately needs to know and experience the salvation of Jesus Christ. As we embrace the opportunity to participate in this work, we joyfully include it in our Vision Campaign.
