Worship & Media Associate
Chandler received a certificate in Ministry from Hillsong College in Australia and has been leading worship bands since he was fourteen. He and his wife Elina currently lead worship at the Princess Anne Campus and for the Lighthouse Young Adult Ministry. In addition, Chandler assists with all media elements such as videos, pro presenter, and production across all three campuses. Chandler and Elina have a heart and passion for doing ministry together and love their pup Ruthie.
Worship Campus Associate - Princess Anne Campus
Elina has always loved to worship and uses her giftings at Trinity as the Worship Campus Associate at Trinity’s Princess Anne location. She attended Hillsong International Leadership College and has been leading worship for over 5 years in Sweden, Australia, and now the United States. Originally from Sweden, Elina and her husband Chandler currently reside here in Virginia Beach with their pup Ruthie.
Bethany jokes that she's been paying bills her whole life, and Trinity is thankful she's had so much practice! Bethany does a great job taking care of Trinity's Accounts Payable needs. Though financial bookkeeping is her technical role, Bethany has a passion for families and loves helping Trinity families get connected. She is a proud Texan and received her Bachelors in Finance from Texas Tech University. Lars, Seth, Isabelle and William keep Bethany and her husband Alan busy with college visits, soccer practices and their cat Rusty(who acts like a dog).
Stuttgart, Germany Mission Campus Pastor
Tommie and his family will be moving to Stuttgart, Germany to start Trinity's first mission campus. He works to connect people in community with others at Trinity and with God himself through worship. He is also a talented graphic artist and routinely puts his Advertising degree from the Universtiy of North Florida to good work. Tommie and his wife, Alisa, have three young children: Liliana, Truett and Barrett. They also have a lovable dachshund named Maple.
Audio, Video, Lighting Director
Stephen's role is to oversee sound, lighting and video across all campuses at Trinity. He ensures technical excellence in service production, making all the creative elements the best that they can be. Since the age of 14, Stephen has been working mostly in churches alongside amazing mentors and team mates who have helped him learn his craft. Most recently, he served as Technical Director/Designer at City Church in Chicago, Stephen is a Virginia Beach native and graduate of Ocean Lakes High School. He and his wife Casey have one daughter, Avery.
Princess Anne Campus Pastor
Art serves as Campus Pastor at our Trinity Princess Anne campus. Art is passionate about seeing the local church embrace its missional role of reflecting the light of Christ into our world. He also enjoys preaching, drawing, hiking, watching NFL football (especially the Detroit Lions), classic animation, and collecting vintage board games. And he especially loves spending time with his wife, Debbie, and kids, Jack and Lucy.
Town Center Campus Coordinator
David has a heart for the local church, a love for God’s Word, and a desire to make disciples. A former elder at Trinity, David indicates it is a joy for him to work with the Town Center Team to handle logistics and establish systems that allow every person to be free to worship in a distraction free environment. David holds degrees from Liberty University in Biblical Studies and Mathematics and a M.Ed as well. David’s favorite delight is spending time with his beautiful wife Natalie, and their two darling girls, Skylar and Sydney.
Student Ministry Director
Michele serves Trinity's middle and high schoolers through ministry administration and ministering to the girls in our youth group. She loves to share with young women that they are created in God's perfect image and to encourage them to honor God by living well. Michele grew up mostly in VA Beach and loves exploring all the city has to offer. Michele and her husband, Matt, love the beach, their playful mutt Abbie, and watching college football.
Town Center Campus Student Ministry Coordinator
Rebecca brings her passion for helping others to Trinity by discipling and leading middle schoolers and high schoolers to Christ, particularly at the Town Center Campus. She has a Masters of Education in Speech Language Pathology from ODU and has been working in the field for 2 years. She describes herself as a part-time Speech Therapist and full-time lover of God! She is originally from Laguna Hills, California and currently resides in Virginia Beach with her husband, Julius, and daughter Ava Lynn.
Skip serves as our first Executive Pastor, applying wisdom and experience gained in almost thirty years practicing law and twenty years in ministry to bring Trinity's vision of a church without walls to life. Skip and his wife Stoney are parents to three adult children and can often been seen walking with their dog Baron along the Oceanfront, in search of the best pizza and ice cream.
Oceanfront Campus Coordinator
Sheryl is the detail-oriented coordinator of our Oceanfront worship services. She also coordinates and oversees any of the special event worship services that Trinity hosts. Sheryl holds B.S. degree in Music Education from Bob Jones University. Sheryl and her husband, Rich, have two amazing grown children, one son-in-law and a crazy Jack Russell Terrier, named Stonewall Jackson.
Town Center Campus Pastor & Student Pastor
Grant is the student pastor to Trinity's middle and high school students, and also serves as the Town Center Campus Pastor. He has been working with youth for over 10 years in a variety of ways-as a traveling speaker, youth minister, wilderness trail guide, and camp counselor. His greatest passion is seeing students connect with Jesus in Creation. Grant moved from Denver, Colorado, where he completed his Masters of Divinity at Denver Seminary. Grant and his wife, Brittany, have two girls and one boy- Lively, Felicity and Bravery- and a fun-loving pup, Shelby.
Norfolk-Waterside Campus Pastor and Lighthouse Pastor
Robbie is the Campus Pastor for Trinity's Norfolk-Waterside campus (launching Fall 2018), as well as our Lighthouse Ministry (Young Adult) Pastor. He has been in pastoral ministry for nearly 20 years, and the greatest thrill of his life is to see people live out all of the potential that God has placed in their hearts. Robbie has served in various ministry capacities including being a church planter, working at a stateside missions agency and serving as a Chaplain and Deputy for a local Sheriff's Office. Robbie's favorite hobby is spending time with the love of his life, his wife Joni. They have four children: Esther, Ellis, Bethany and Micah and two chorkies, Bella and Beau.
Brittany is passionate about meeting new people, building systems, and connecting people so they can grow to be more like Jesus. Trinity is incredibly thankful to have her using these gifts and abilities as Ministry Assistant and as a volunteer Community Group leader. Brittany holds degrees from Grove City College in Education & Entrepreneurship and a M.Ed from Regent University. Brittany and her husband Kevin have four fun and energetic kids - Caleb, Nathanael, Ellie and Madison.
Nancy loves using the experience gleaned in over twenty years in full time ministry to facilitate communication at Trinity including both print and digital media. She is married to Oceanfront Pastor Scott Hoffman and embraces the shared calling God has placed on their lives. Nancy is a Leading From Your Strengths certified coach and most enjoys helping people appreciate each other's strengths and serve in unity. When not building Legos with her grandkids she enjoys cooking with herbs from her garden and making old, ugly things beautiful again.
Oceanfront Campus Pastor
Scott comes to Trinity with more than twenty-five years of ministry experience, in pastoral ministry, as CEO of a Christian ministry on the New Jersey shore and with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. He has a passion for sharing his love for Jesus Christ and in his spare time enjoys playing board games, golf and reading, especially biographies and church history. Scott has been married to Nancy for 31 years and their son Kevin, daughter-in-law Brittany and their delightful children live here in Virginia Beach.
Oceanfront Campus Trinity Kids Children's Coordinator
Alexis' job at Trinity is to create a safe and exciting environment for infant-5th grade kids at the Oceanfront Campus to learn and grow in their personal relationship with Jesus. Alexis completed her Bachelor's Degree in Religion and Culture from Virginia Tech and spent a little over a year post-grad teaching inner city youth in Baltimore public schools while pursuing a Masters in Ed. She has been working with children for as long as she can remember and knows that God has formed her for a life long career of impacting youth. A Virginia Beach native, Alexis has wonderful parents, one older sister, a brother-in-law and a nephew - the light of her world, as well as a pup named Norah.
Town Center Campus Trinity Kids Children's Coordinator
Terri is the high energy director of the children's program at the Town Center location. It is her great joy to love the children, engage with families and to help children fall in love with Jesus at an early age. Terri is a Virginia Beach native and has a Speech Communication degree from Old Dominion University. Terri and her husband, David, have four daughters and one son-in-law. Also a substitue teacher and a happy home cook, Terri is a generous spirit that Trinity is thankful to have.
Oceanfront Campus Music Director
Karen helps to plan, coordinate, and implement worship and music at the Oceanfront campus. She’s a true Virginia Beach native and earned a Bachelor’s in Communication and Master’s degree from Virginia Tech and has been a worship leader for over fifteen years. Karen's passion for the Lord is infectious and she considers her role of leading others into God’s presence through worship a privilege. She and her husband Terry have two great kids: Chris and Caroline.
Norfolk Campus Coordinator
Janet is responsible for coordinating activities at the Norfolk-Waterside Campus and assisting the Campus Pastor. She is married to Pastor for Evangelism Ronnie ‘Mack’ McAdoo. Janet will also assist as the Coordinator of 1Died4All basketball. Janet has a B.S degree in Finance from Cal State University, Long Beach and a M.S Ed from Old Dominion University. Ronnie and Janet have two grown children, Kelsey and James Michael (Lauren) and two adorable grandkids.
Oceanfront Campus Student Ministry Coordinator
Blake’s role at Trinity is to cultivate relationships and disciple students at the Oceanfront Campus. He grew up in St. Lous, MO but left for Charleston, SC his junior year of high school and his family currently lives in Charleston. He calls both places home! Blake is currently attending ECPI University and working on his B.S. in Homeland Security. He has volunteered in Trinity’s student ministry since fall of 2011 and is excited to now be on staff! His greatest passion is in serving others, specifically in coaching. He loves seeing when kids get excited for doing well after working hard and applying what they learned. Blake can often be seen wearing bowties and boatshoes and enjoying time with his wife, Ashley, daughter, Eleanor Jane, and sweet German Shepherd named Reese.
Database & Calendar Administrator
Heather is responsible for coordinating our database, registration and ministry calendars. She lived in Utah until she was 14 and then her family moved to Ohio where she attended high school and college before moving to Virginia Beach for grad school. She has a B.A. in Psychology and a M.A. in Community Counseling. She enjoys supporting and encouraging others through detailed administration, gentle listening, and skilled facilitation. Heather and her husband, Nate, have one son, Graham, a daughter Brooke and a sweet dog, Molly.
Princess Anne Campus Student Ministry Coordinator
As the Student Ministry Coordinator for Princess Anne Campus, Taylor uses his past experiences as a leader through Young Life Capernaum and previous church leadership experiences to connect with the middle and high schoolers in the youth group at Princess Anne. He has a Bachelors Degree in Sport Management from Old Dominion University. Taylor LOVES watching all kinds of sports and you can join him in rooting for his favorite teams! A few of his favs are: Football (Fly Eagles Fly, Go Dawgs, Go Monarchs), Basketball (76ers "Trust The Process"), Hockey (Go Flyers), Baseball (Go Phillies), and Soccer (Man City "C'mon City")
Vision & Teaching Pastor
Randy is one of Trinity's dedicated teaching pastors. Randy has a strong vision and passion for Trinity to serve the Hampton Roads are and the four corners of the world. In addition to serving at Trinity, Randy is a practicing lawyer, an award-winning author and a die-hard Packers fan. He and his wife Rhonda have two grown children, Rosalyn and Joshua, one grandchild, and a lovable black lab named Lambeau (who you will most likely hear about in a sermon at some point).
Director of Digital Content
Felix is responsible for all the video and web media that is implemented on a weekly basis. Coming from a Navy family, he has lived all over but calls Virginia Beach his home. He has over ten years of experience in the design field and loves seeing how people connect with the things he creates. Felix and his wife, Sarah, have two girls, Luci & Silvi.
Elizabeth is responsible for ensuring the integrity of financial processes at Trinity Church and also oversees Human Resources. Elizabeth has an International Business degree from Hillsdale College and a degree in Accounting from Old Dominion University. Elizabeth is a former water ski instructor, an avid Crossfit gal and is also known for her incredible catering and cooking! At home, she enjoys time with her husband, Richard, and sons, Charles and Jonathan.
Princess Anne Campus Coordinator
Boni is responsible for coordinating activities at the Princess Anne Campus and assisting the Campus Pastor. She is originally from Minnesota but called northern Virginia her home for 24 years before moving to Virginia Beach. She has a B.S. in Christian Education and is passionate about helping people discover their spiritual gifts and calling, especially helping them connect with opportunities in the local church where they can serve. Her growing family includes her husband, David, four children, two son-in-laws, and three grandchildren.
