Jess Thompson

Jess was born and raised in Maryland between Baltimore and DC. While in college, she met her husband on the worship team at their church in 2006. That year they moved to Clark’s native South Carolina where they were married and grew their family by four beautiful daughters.

During her childhood, Jess made many visits to her Aunt and Uncle living in Bavaria, and ever since has had a love for Germany. After a long season of waiting, God blessed their family with the opportunity to move to the Stuttgart area in 2022. When she and her family attended Trinity for the first time, they all knew it was a place of belonging and a community they wanted to join. Soon after, she and Clark were both serving on the worship team and working to use their gifts to build a God-honoring atmosphere of praise with the congregation. Clark is currently the Worship Coordinator at the Stuttgart Campus, and Jess feels that it has been a privilege to work side by side in their partnering ministries each week.

Jess is in her twelfth year homeschooling her four children and she loves spending her days with them. For fun, she loves to paint and knit, play guitar and sing, read classic literature, and laugh at old 90’s/2000’s sitcoms. Perhaps one of her favorite hobbies of all is snuggling with her incredibly sweet springerdoodle, Pickett, who can never get enough pets.
