Sermon on the Mount by Jen Wilkin

Location: Princess Anne Campus, The Abbey
Date/Time: Tuesdays 9:30AM to 11:00AM, beginning September 14th
Facilitator: Leslie Hart
Childcare available through the YMCA

In His sweeping depiction of kingdom citizenship, Jesus utters some of the most familiar passages in all of Scripture. Most of us have only encountered the Sermon on the Mount in fragments, considering its subdivisions as complete teachings in their own right – a study on blessedness, a reflection on the Lord’s Prayer, a meditation on lilies of the field. But what if we navigated these three chapters as they were originally heard: as one cohesive, well-ordered message, intended to challenge us to think differently about repentance, salvation, and sanctification? This 9-week study led by Jen Wilkin does just that. Seat yourself on a mountainside to learn at the feet of Jesus. Ask for ears to hear and a heart to respond to the teaching of our King.

Tuesday AM — Stuttgart Campus

Captivating by Stasi Eldridge

Location: TBD
Date/Time: Tuesdays 9:30AM to 11:00AM, beginning September 28th
Facilitator: Anja Ohlrogge
Cost: $10 per participant to cover the cost of the book

Most women think they have to settle for a life of duty, trying hard to "do these ten things, and you will be a godly woman," yet feeling like a failure. The message of Captivating is that the desires you had as a little girl and the longings you still feel are telling you of the life God created you to live. He offers to come now, as the Hero of your story—to rescue your heart and release you to live as a fully alive and feminine woman. A woman who is truly captivating.

Tuesday PM — Stuttgart Campus

Trustworthy by Lysa Terkeurst

Location: Private home in Aidlingen

Facilitator: Brittany Rumple
The book can be obtained on Amazon.de or Amazon.com

When hard times come and it seems God is deviating from the plan we assume our life should follow, we’re much more likely to want to tame God, not trust Him. It’s then that we begin to press into our ways and our own timing. No human can carry the weight of being their own god, but so many of us try.

In this 6-session study of 1 & 2 Kings, you can join Lysa TerKeurst in Israel as she honestly reveals the places of distrust in her own heart while exploring the deeply personal applicable Scriptures that will teach us how to truly trust God.
