Tuesday AM on Zoom (Stuttgart)

Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis

Location: In-person meetings at rotating homes
Date/Time: Tuesday mornings, 9:30-11:00am (GMT+1), Sept 15th - Dec 16th
Facilitator: Sarah Ludewig

The Screwtape Letters is a classic masterpiece of religious satire that presents a sly and ironic portrayal of human life and foibles from the vantage point of a devil named Screwtape. Screwtape's nephew Wormwood is just beginning his demonic career and has been assigned to secure the damnation of a young man who has just become a Christian.

In this humorous exchange, C. S. Lewis delves into moral questions about good v. evil, temptation, repentance, and grace. The reader emerges with a better knowledge of what it means to live a good, honest life.

The 31 letters of this book will be broken down into 12 segments (= 12 weeks); the group's leader will use a study guide to lead the discussion and go deeper into the book's examination of morality, temptation, good and evil.
