Rhanna Thompson

Rhanna Thompson is the Assistant Coordinator for Trinity Kids at the Downtown Norfolk campus and is passionate about helping children feel loved, safe, and known. Originally from Brazil, Rhanna moved to the United States 12 years ago through an au pair exchange program in Northern Virginia. Prior to that, she worked in early childhood education in Brazil, including at a bilingual school, and later studied Early Childhood Development at Northern Virginia Community College.

Rhanna and her husband, Tyler, moved to Hampton Roads three years ago through the Navy and are raising and homeschooling their two boys in the area. Homeschooling and family life are a big part of Rhanna’s heart, and she also enjoys teaching Portuguese at a local co-op.

Outside of ministry, Rhanna enjoys embroidery, interior design, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, hosting friends and family in her home, and attempting to keep up with her chickens and garden.
