ScheGon "Joshua" Lim

Born and raised in Hamburg, Germany, Josh brings a unique cross-cultural perspective to Trinity Church. A second-generation Korean-German, he began in medicine and law before answering God’s call to pastoral ministry.

He holds a Master of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and has served in Germany, South Korea, Chicago, Northern Virginia, and Los Angeles.

With over 2 decades of ministry experience, Josh has led in diverse roles—from youth and education to executive and lead pastoral positions. He’s passionate about reaching the lost, equipping and empowering leaders, and building worship communities that are centered around the Gospel.

Josh and his wife, HeeJoo, are raising two energetic sons and are excited to join and serve the Trinity family in Stuttgart and beyond.
