Between the final words of Malachi and the first cries of a newborn in Bethlehem, Heaven was quiet—no new Scripture, no prophets, no fresh promises. For 400 years, God’s people waited, hoped, and prayed through silent nights, longing for deliverance. Empires rose and fell, and many surely wondered if God had forgotten them. Yet even in the silence, his plan was unfolding. Like those who waited for the Messiah, we too experience seasons when God seems still—when we must trust his character even when we cannot see his calendar. This Christmas, join us as we rediscover the beauty of waiting and the hope that still whispers through the silent nights.

What to Expect

Christmas Eve at Trinity Church is a timeless tradition for the whole family. We invite you to come and set your eyes on Christ during the busy holiday season. Sing classic Christmas hymns, read scripture, and listen to a timely message from one of our pastors. We will end this Advent season with a lighting of the Christ Candle.

You are also welcome to join us as we light the Advent wreath candles each Sunday leading to Christmas.

But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.
